Serve DC makes funds available to eligible organizations to operate AmeriCorps and Learn and Serve programs, as well as to support service projects on some volunteer. Days. AmeriCorps is a national service network that offers participants full- and part-time opportunities to serve their communities. Learn and Serve supports service learning in both community and school-based programs that engage youth in exploring the past, present and future of their neighborhoods.
